He assists organizations in transition and can provide interim leadership that can get you through a rough patch or a course correct. He has the skills to meet your human resource, fiscal and program needs. 

Known as a skilled fundraiser, with the ability to lead, making decisions that impact and move organizations forward, He gets the job done while building teams that enable succession. 

Meagan is a  Certified Association Executive with a track record of increasing membership, developing strategic partnerships, increasing revenues and delivering/executing events and conferences in the association space. 

Named a Top 40 Under 40 by Connect Magazine in 2018, which highlights the top young professionals in the events industry. In 2019, Meagan was the recipient of both the Volunteer of the Year Award and the President’s Award with the Canadian Society of Professional Event Planners. 

As the driving force behind and the co-founder of the Engaging Associations Forum (2014-2019), the event aimed to elevate the conversation between Association Executives, and their network of peers, collaborators and partners, discussing challenges, issues, and successes that associations are experiencing today. 

An avid volunteer, Meagan participated on various committees with CSAE (Ottawa-Gatineau), sat on the CanSPEP Board of Directors, and has just joined the MPI Ottawa Board of Directors, as the Director, Partnerships.

With over 15 years in the industry, Meagan has consistently provided leadership, innovation, and strategic advice and development as it relates to association management, operational capacity, membership, marketing and event initiatives.
